Final Project

For my final project I will be shooting a 5-6 min video of my friends and the ridiculous things they do... I will be looking at others works as examples. The first research i did was the ending of the movie RENT. Through out the movie a main character, Mark, is shown always video taping hi friends. At the end of the movie we see his final masterpiece. His friends are shown from the beginning of the movie and all they have been through. I also have researched the music video of

Jay Z, forever young, which i will be using as my background song.

Final Project

I am very excited for my final project. I’m going to make a five to six minute movie of my friends being there crazy selves. I want to capture moments in time that will always be remembered during this freshmen year. I will be using both a documentary and home video style. The song that I will be filming with is Forever Young by Jay Z and Mr. Hudson. This song represents the theme that I’m going toured. I will first have documentary of my friends with extreme lighting and a light blue backdrop. The next part will be the realistic moments of them having a good time together. Next will be small clips of different subject that will relate to the personality of my friend on the video. For example, my boyfriend and friend Paul likes going out on long skateboarding rides. For a transition, I will have a close up of the wheel of the board turning. Another transition that I may add is a close up of a pair of hands typing on laptop keyboard. The most important part of this movie is showing the individual personalities that make each of my friends unique. This movie will show unforgettable memories that I will always treasure.

This Project is named cryptic writings. I want this book to give a very mysterious feel to it. It may look like a regular book that may be lying around or getting dusty on a bookshelf but its a new store when its opened. I will be taking a already printed book ,which has a lot of pages, and make secret departments into it. With the research i have done i have found that many of these book just have a large compartment in the entire book. However, In my secret book i will have 2 small compartments with slide covers, which will be camouflaged with the original cut out printed paper. So you wont know there a nook in side it. I may also add one large compartment in the back of the book with a take off cover for storing larger things.
